Bio
El Sistema is a unique education initiative that develops under-privileged communities through teaching classical music. It has been exceptionally successful in Latin America, where it has reached over 500,000 children, creating prosperity with limited resources.
El Sistema Kenya was launched in the informal settlements of Kawangware in 2014 and currently offers a strings program, with a wider goal to scale the project to the rest of Kenya and East Africa. More than 60 young musicians been enrolled to its program since inception.
