Eddie

Edwin Mhone was born on 29 March 1993 in Nkhata-Bay. He is a RnB and soul musician from Blantyre, Malawi. He grew up in Mzuzu and studied Accounting (ICAM) at PACT College in Blantyre. His pasion for music began at a tender age, he grew up listening to music from well-known artists like Babyface, Usher Raymond, Michael Bolton and El de Barge. Their music inspired him to become a musician.

He ventured into music in 2011. Shortly afterwards, he recorded a debut single titled ‘Be There For You’. The song was never released. In 2013, he released ‘Napepe’ and ‘Lero si Friday’. The songs earned him the much needed popularity as his music received airplay from local radio stations.
