Dr Karimi Ngeera

Dr. Karimi is a seasoned finance professional with over 10 years of experience spanning industries such as non-profit, tech solutions, and healthcare. She has been pioneering Intellectual Property (IP) financing initiatives at HEVA Fund, emphasizing its critical role as a catalyst for growth and innovation in the creative and cultural industries in Africa. Her leadership in this area focuses on unlocking new financial avenues for creative entrepreneurs by leveraging IP assets to transform how they access capital. Alongside this, she empowers creative entrepreneurs by designing capacity-building programs aimed at enhancing their financial literacy and management skills, improving their profitability.

Dr. Karimi holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Finance from USIU-A, an MBA in Finance, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance. She is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya and actively engages with professional bodies including the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA), and the Association of Women Accountants of Kenya (AWAK). She is an avid recreational runner, using her passion for running to inspire and contribute to various charitable initiatives.
