Chipo Namoomba (Dorky Hippie) is a singer known for her great singing abilities, soulful voice, self expression, free spiritedness and ethereal music. Born in 2004 on the 25th of September in Lusaka, Zambia. She grew up in loving and singing along to music and never really had the courage to sing in public, not until she was 17 years old when her friend encouraged her to take it more seriously and did. When she started to expose herself to live audiences she even got to sing with Youssou N'Dours band at only 18 years old. When she performed with them she felt more connected with her audience and felt connected with herself too. After that experience she decided to pursue music full time. With her role models in the music industry namely Beyoncé who admirs for her non conformity, Ms Lauryn Hill who exhibits bravery and authenticity and Stevie Nicks who embraces a great deal of free spiritedness, she is greatly inspired by.
