DJ Ruff

Raphael Nyamu Ndwiga, better known as DJ Ruff Adi Captain has been an active Disc Jockey since the year 2010. He served at Mavuno Church as a DJ between 2010 and 2012 while concurrently Woking at System Unit as a DJ trainer till 2013.

His first platform on Radio was Truth FM, Replay Reloaded Show where he worked between 2012 and 2013. Since 2014 he has been working at Ghetto Radio 89.5 where he hosts two shows :Gospel Night Live (every Saturday from 7-10pm) and Ghetto Gospel Show (every Sunday from 7-11am) to date.

Raphael's prowess has had him nominated for several awards such as Groove Awards DJ of the year 2015, Groove Awards Presenter of the Year 2015 and Mwafaka Awards Radio Presenter of the Year 2015 among others. Of those He was nominated, he won Xtreem Awards 2013, Mwafaka Awards 2015, both as DJ of the Year and he is also Gifted DJs Winner (powered by Groove) 2015.

He has showcased his skill in several notable events such as Groove Party 2013, Groove Awards 2013, Groove Tour 2015, System Rave 2012 and 2013 Arise Concert (Embu & Meru) 2014, Gospel Hookup 2015. He has made numerous appearances on TV,newspapers and blogs as well.

Besides skill, Raphael also gave good attention to his education. He holds a Degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi.
