DJ Karri

Mr Karabo Andries Mokgara (“DJ Karri”) has been in the music industry for more than 15 years and has over the years worked on his craft as a musical
guru and also as a producer of house music, a genre that speaks to young people in all facets of life.

He is a great example to the community of Hammanskraal, Pretoria where he grew up and developed the love for music and also discovered his talent to also work as an events coordinator and organiser of events whenever called upon. In the year 2021, he produced a single that would shake the entire music industry through incorporating social media and mainstream media to set a different tune in what the future of music entail.

The well-known song titled “trigger” was a game changer and the well needed evidence to prove that hard work that DJ Karri has been putting behind the scenes over the years had finally paid off. Indeed hard work does pay at the end of the day, only if you put your mind to it.

DJ Karri is recognised and has been an influential figure in the music industry and many of his fans that he so love dearly are following him on all platforms that his music is attainable. He is an international award nominee and a SAMA awards nominee.

In addition DJ Karri strives on transforming lives through his foundation as already mentioned above. He goes into communities and tries by all means to change lives of those who have fallen out of grace through their material conditions of using substances such as drugs and alcohol.
DJ Karri have played a huge role in the lives of the following creatives and musicians, Tebogo G Mashego, Alostro, Lerato, GPG Wa Pitori and DJ Mujava. He is the reason that the aforementioned individual are also part of a generation that contributes positively towards a prosperous society through music and entertainment including overcoming substance abuse through rehabilitation.
