Bio
Kholile Elvin Gumede (born 16 May 1988), better known as DJ Clock, is a South African DJ and record producer from Vosloorus in the East Rand.
His music career started in 2007 when he completed a short course in Music Production & DJ Training in Rosebank. His big break was in 2008 when he produced a hit song for Big Nuz called “Ubala.” The song went on to win multiple awards and the SAMA’s and the Metro Awards. Within the same year, he released his debut album called The First Tick. The album went on to become successful, reaching platinum status and receiving two SAMA nominations.
By now, he had very quickly cemented himself as an established hitmaker. He launched his own production house called AM-PM Productions. He went on to produce and release more albums and songs, which earned him more awards and nominations. His fourth album in the series, The Fourth Tick, featured his most popular song to date. The song “Pluto”, featuring Beatenberg, was a massive hit with millions of streams across platforms. The song sat at the top of the SA radio charts for 37 consecutive weeks.
He has since gone on to release two more albums and has released many more songs with other established artists.
