DJ Akuaa

DJ Akuaa is an artist from the US. Originally from the city of Tema, Ghana, DJ Akuaa otherwise known to her followers as "DaSpinstress,” launched her music career in the DC-Metro Area in 2010. Since then, she’s had the privilege of playing across the U.S. and internationally. In 2014, DJ Akuaa was voted Best Female DJ at the DMV African Entertainment Awards. She was also named Best International DJ at Ghana DJ Awards, and Best USA/GH DJ of the year in 2017 and 2019.
