Demi-Lee Moore

Demi-Lee Moore is a South African singer-songwriter from Worcester, known for her versatility in both English and Afrikaans music. She began her professional career in 2013 with The Barnyard Theatre and released her debut album, Net ’n Mens, in 2014, earning a Ghoema Award nomination. She gained national recognition after placing 7th on Idols X in 2014 and later rose to prominence by winning Die Kontrak in 2018.

Her musical style blends powerful vocals with dynamic crossover appeal, producing hits such as Mis Eet Slaap Herhaal, Maak my jou Tequila, and Wie se hart breek jy vanaand. In 2024, her single "Hart breek" reached the number spot on the WOM Top 20.
