DeepTouchSA

Born on 28 July 1998, Simbarashe Musingarimi, better known by his stage name DeepTouchSA, is a South African Music producer, DJ and record producer. Simbarashe developed an interest in music at the age of fourteen where he began producing music. He drew his musical influences from his Uncle who was a producer at the time. He looks up to fellow producers such as Vinny Da Vinci, Dukesoul and QB Smith, whose music motivated him.

His first exposures to entertaining audiences were in reputable local House music clubs where he evolved playing various combinations of House. He demonstrated diversity in music, as always he took inspirations from musical mosaicism.

His style was mainly classified as Soul music and Deep house genres but he found himself in other styles, which were a reflection of his wide range taste and interests. In the process of creating music he used Yamaha synthesizer for main Chords, Cubase software for MIDI sequencing and classical Roland TR beat machines with legendary sampler Akai MPC 2000XL for drum programming and sequencing.
