Dance Foundation Course (DFC)

Dance Foundation Course (DFC) is an intensive three-year contemporary dance training course based on a full-time and broad curriculum. The course includes several dance disciplines and subjects that are of use for performing artists.

The educational program allows regular collaborations and productions with other dance groups and choreographers from the region. The DFC programme contributes to partnerships with Belgium, Israel, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique and South Africa.

Lessons conducted at DFC are accompanied by either recorded music or live instruments and traditional drumming. The course is funded by Africalia. The tuition fee for the course is not affordable by many Zimbabwean students. As such Africalia provide students with a scholarship that covers their tuition and transport fees.
