Travis Tokologo Ratlou, known by his stage name D F W N E, is a South African singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. He is best known as a leading figure in the Afro-Alternative R&B scene, characterized by his "genre-bending" fusion of soul, jazz, and traditional influences.
D F W N E was born and raised in South Africa. He first gained significant attention as an independent artist, establishing himself as a vulnerable and reflective frontman through his expressive vocal style and deeply personal songwriting.
