Cynthia Denton

Cynthia Denton is a Namibian-born jazz and RnB artist based in Australia. Her passion for music began when she made herself a guitar at 15. At 16, her uncle bought her a proper guitar. She later moved to South Africa, where she stayed for eight years. In 1998, she moved to Australia to pursue her career in music. In 2011, Cynthia launched her debut album, ‘Colour Blind’, followed by ‘A Queen Within’ in 2012. In mid-2015 she released another album, ‘Legacy’, in her hometown of Rehoboth. She has performed in different countries such as Namibia, the USA, South Africa, Malawi, Zimbabwe and Australia.

Apart from music, she is an author. She launched her first book, ‘More Than a Melody’, in 2009. The book is inspired by the worship and cultural expressions of different people.
