Cici

Cici, real name Busisiwe Thwala, is a South African singer-songwriter and actress who began her music journey in her youth through church and school choirs, with her professional career launching in 2015 with her debut single "Runaway.

Born on February 15, 1987, in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, Cici grew up in a religious household with her parents serving as pastors. Her father nicknamed her "My radio" because of her constant singing around the house. She initially started her music journey around 2003, performing in cabarets and honing her skills on cruise ships before achieving mainstream recognition in late 2015. Her major hit single "Runaway" earned her two awards at the 15th Metro FM Music Awards in 2016.
