Chelsea Mouto

My name is Chelsea Mouto. I am Cameroonian, and music has been a part of me since I was a teenager.
It all started in 2017. I discovered Cameroonian artists of rare talent, and something inside me quietly stirred. Why weren't these voices, these sounds, these stories reaching beyond our borders ? Why was so much talent going unnoticed ? Those questions stayed with me for a long time. And instead of waiting for answers, I decided to become part of the solution.
I immersed myself in the world of Cameroonian urban music. I wanted to understand, to learn, and most importantly, to act. In 2019, I joined an independent label and discovered the craft of artist management. It was a revelation. Not just a job, but a purpose.
In 2023, I left the label to follow my own path. Then in 2025, I took another step forward by creating content on social media, to shine a light on emerging artists, share what I had learned, and keep working alongside those who want to grow and be heard.
Today, I am a manager out of passion. But more than anything, I am someone who deeply believes that Cameroonian music deserves the whole world. And until that day comes, I will keep doing my part, one artist at a time.
