Ceuzany

Ceuzany is a Cape Verdean singer. With a father from Fogo island and mother from Sao Vicente, Ceuzany was born in Senegal, where she lived until age 2 before returning. She began her artistic career at age 12, excelling in local choir festivals. Later she he found regular work in hotels with the group Eclipse, even touring France and Holland. In 2007, while performing at a hotel on Santo Antao, she caught the attention of Arlindo Evora, songwriter and vocalist of the group Cordas do Sol, who immediately invited her to join this established group. In 2013 she released her first solo album, 'Nha Vida' on the Harmonia label.
