Cape Town Sound

Cape Town Sound offers state-of-the-art recording as well as record label and music publishing facilities. They offer skills in music production, engineering and composition as well as extensive experience in the music industry.

The in-house producers/engineers are Paul Petersen, formerly a guitarist for afro-jazz band Spirits Rejoice, and Patric van Blerk, a central figure in the music industry since the late 1960s, including at major studios such as Auvico/Satbel and Sonovision. He worked with popular acts like Margaret Singana, Rabbitt, Joy, Freedom’s Children and many others. As a songwriter, he enjoyed success with songs such as ‘Paradise Road’, ‘Charlie’, and the title theme from the TV series 'Shaka Zulu', ‘We Are Growing’.
