Calliber "The Berean Emcee"

Bio

Calliber is a hip-hop artist from the Kingdom of Swaziland that seeks to use the craft of Rap music to convey and discuss with music lovers, the real life occurrences we as people go through every day from a Christian’s worldview. Calliber’s musical journey as a rapper began when he used to involve himself in rap competitions in his high school days under the alias “4-Clip: The Teflon Don”. It was after he got saved and renewed his commitment to his Christian faith that he decided to restructure his persona as an artist and make positive rap music while expressing his convictions and faith in Jesus Christ.

Calliber’s first mixtape “Kingdom Rap Volume 1 (KRV.1)” was compiled in 2012 as he worked together with a few Swazi artists and Producers that supported his inception into the rap circles, pioneering moves in his home country by performing his music at many church and hip hop functions and acquired the help of radio DJ’s and friends. He has also had his music also featured by substantial local and international artists.

After a long hiatus in producing personal projects, Calliber “The Berean Emcee” released the; “Conscious of Christ” (mixtape) on the 17th of November 2016, as a follow up project to “Kingdom Rap Vol.1“. By the grace of God, in the same month, Calliber was dubbed as the #3 Emcee to look out for, in the Kingdom of Swaziland on the MTV Base Africa Website.
