Byron Abrahams

Bio

Byron Abrahams is a saxophonist, singer and MC from South Africa, who has spent more than the last decade on the five-star hotel scene in the Middle East.

Abrahams performed at the Joy of Jazz Festival in Johannesburg as part of the South African National Jazz Band, and he has made several appearances at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, as well as world Tonduro festival, Moçambique!

His main projects include ‘Deux Sons’ Eclectic Elegant Duo, ‘The Yellow Bow Ties’ funk band, ‘Merci Boucoup: The Byron Abrahams Trio’, while his repertoire features 1920s to modern Jazz, swing, funk, pop, hip hop, house (sax w/DJ).
