Buzzi Lee

Bontle Makhwelo, known professionally as Buzzi Lee, is a recording artist from Pretoria, South Africa.

She is recognised for her distinct style and versatility, particularly her ability to rap in SePitori across a wide range of beats. She is committed to delivering strong performances on every project, with notable features including Sho Boy (featuring Riky Rick, Junior Taurus, Buzzi Lee, Yanga Chief, Beast RSA, Focalistic, Blxckie and 25K), Zonke – Remix, and Mugwanti, among others.

Buzzi Lee’s debut single Superstar generated significant interest and was featured in HYPE Magazine, leaving fans eager for more. Her subsequent single Pheli Via Church was also well received and gained international attention, earning coverage from Pan African Music Media.

In 2022, Buzzi Lee received three nominations at the South African Hip Hop Awards (SAHHA) and won Best Remix for Never Ride (Remix) alongside MashBeatz and several other artists.
