Brainy Boss

Andokari Nathan Tanko (born 6th May, 1994), better known as Brainy Boss, is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist and record producer. He has been the CEO of Smart Station Entertainment since March 2018.

Early life
Nathan was born in Jalingo, Taraba State. His parents, Chief Coach and Mrs Tanko are from Ibi, Taraba state, both of Jukun-Nigerian descent. He attended Amazing Grace Nursery and Primary School, Ibi where he obtain his First School Leaving Certificate, he later join Foundation Secondary School Ibi where he obtain his SSCE. Nathan has four brothers and one Sister, Moses, Shawe, Victor, Panni and Patience. Nathan’s adolescence, he would listen to tracks from Lil Wayne, Jay Z, DMX, Bird Man, Michael Jackson, MI, Eedris Abdulkareem, Dagrin, Ice Prince, Jesse Jags. Nathan's venture in the hip hop world started with the sampling of musical works from MI and Ice Prince as early as 2008.
After his diploma at Taraba State, Suntai, Nigeria, he delved into Cyber Caf’e pursuing a career in Graphic Design. There, he designed regularly at the Cyber Caf’e's major Weeding Posters, hip hop shows and concerts.

Brainy Boss role in the music industry cannot be overstated. He has been described by many Nigerian hip hop fans as Nigeria's "Hip Hop Messiah". Brainy Boss has done a lot to bring a Northern presence to the Nigerian music industry, he depicts the perfect example of bringing Nigeria together.
He is the founder of Smart Station Entertainment. Brainy Boss also work in music Cover Graphics design of albums and songs for his label mates. The most notable of these being in 2018 when he design for “J. Klone” album All that I have and recently the Label Logo.

Fans describe Brainy Boss’s flow as "easy going but packed full of punches" and Truism originated vocals. Similarities in styles have also been drawn to renowned rappers such as Drake, M.I, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and Falz.
