Bio

Bounty Lisa (real name Lynette Lisa Musenyi) is a female dancehall musician from Zimbabwe. She was born on 7 February 1993. She is the second born in a family of three. She started her music career in Mbare, Harare. Her debut recordings were done at Chill Spot Records in 2013.

Her song ‘Basa Rangu’ prompted her rise to popularity. She is married to dancehall musician Soul Jah Love. She attended St Peter's High School in Mbare where she did her secondary education. She grew up listening to music by Jamaican reggae artist Bounty Killer and this inspired the name Bounty Lisa.

She has worked with some notable artists and producers such as Levelz of Chill Spot Records and Seh Calaz of the Mabhanditi fame. She has so far released two albums namely ‘Mangoma’ and ‘Masterpice’ (2014). Her singles include ‘Vari Ordinary’, ‘Basa Rangu’, ‘We Taking Over’, ‘Wandipengesa’ (Feat Soul Jah Love), ‘Muvengi’, ‘Nhasi Ndozvitaura’, ‘Ndozvitaura’ (Feat Seh Calaz) and many others.
