Bathromew Shaba

Bathromew Shaba is a passionate cultural advocate and community leader from Mzimba District, Malawi, dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich Ngoni heritage. With over a decade of experience in community engagement and cultural development through the Mzimba Heritage Association, Shaba specialises in traditional Ngoni music, dance, and language preservation.

As the Finance Officer for the Mzimba Heritage Association, he has played a vital role in organising cultural festivals, including the renowned Ingoma dance performances and initiatives to revive the Ngoni language. His work focuses on empowering youth to embrace their cultural identity while creating platforms for traditional artists to thrive.
