Bio

 Bahjat Etorjman (born on 24 June 1995 in Tripoli, Libya) is a Libyan pop singer and songwriter based in Stockholm, Sweden. Known for independent hits such as “Hometown Smile” and “Halba”, he has emerged as a rising voice in Arab pop, blending contemporary pop sensibilities with influences drawn from his Libyan roots.

Bahjat began singing at the age of two and started writing songs at 13. At 15, he gained early recognition by posting cover songs on YouTube, steadily building an online following. Following the unrest of the Arab Spring, he fled Libya for Malta before eventually settling in Sweden to pursue his music career.

In 2017, he attended Musikmakarna, a prestigious Swedish music academy, where he further developed his craft and received encouragement from renowned producers Max Martin and Johan Shellback.

Among his notable releases are “Hometown Smile”, “Us Against the World”, “Yjeek Youm” and the widely streamed 2020 single “Halba”. His growing international profile has led to features on major platforms including BBC, MBC, The National and Al Arabiya.
