Bio
Bafo Daniel Joseph (pronounced /baa'fo/; born December 24, 1989) or Baf Jay (stage name) is a Sudanese- American hip hop artist,and record producer. Baf Jay first rose in light of the southern Sudanese Referendum, a split of the south from the north. He did a cover to the multi-platinum single black and yellow titled 'Call me Baf Jay', soon after recording original tracks 'I Bet They Didn't Know' which stressed the importance of his culture (Produced by Johnny Juliano) and 'Make it Clap' (Produced by ArK Production)
He eventually achieved recognition for his work when he teamed up with Sosa Sounds Intl (Based out of Washington D.C.) in February, 2011. Baf Jay Continues to bring light to the people of the Sudan and is determined to seek independence and progression for not only Sudanese people in America but African people all over the world.
