Bio
Audrey Katerere is a dynamic media and events professional whose work bridges creativity, community, and technical excellence. With a strong academic foundation in Media and Society Studies and over four years of hands-on experience, she has built a versatile career spanning production, communications, and arts management.
Her professional journey includes key roles with leading organizations such as Studio Moto (under Magamba Network), Phenomenal Lighting and Power Solutions, Caltech Media, and Courtauld Theatre. Through these roles, Audrey has honed her expertise in production coordination, stage management, client liaison, and content creation.
Audrey’s portfolio features collaborations on some of Zimbabwe’s most celebrated cultural events, including Shoko Festival, Bokola Festival, Good Food and Seed Festival, and the Festival of Lights. She has also worked alongside acclaimed creatives such as Mokoomba Band, Rutendo Jackie, and comedians King Kandoro and Simuka Comedy.
Beyond production, Audrey is deeply committed to mentorship and youth development. Through her involvement with organizations like ICHYPPA, she has guided emerging talent in theatre, music, and public speaking, fostering the next generation of Zimbabwean creatives.
Recognized for her growing influence in Zimbabwe’s creative economy, Audrey continues to blend her technical production skills with a passion for community engagement. Her work across all ten provinces of Zimbabwe reflects her dedication to building inclusive, vibrant, and sustainable creative spaces.
