SA: DJ Stokie releases 5th album Shandu Ka Ndaba

Named after his family's clan praise, the 18-track record represents the producer’s most intimate work to date. It is a heartfelt meditation on lineage, legacy and the cultural forces that have shaped amapiano music.

As a build-up to the release, DJ Stokie released ‘Sowenza Rongo’ single featuring LeeMcKrazy and TMan Xpress.

Some of the featured songs on the album include ‘Akavumi’ featuring Eemoh and DJ Nnana, ‘Amazwe’ created alongside Zain SA, ‘Summertime’ with Reece Madlisa and ‘Sowenza Rongo’, featuring Leemckrazy and TManXpress.

DJ Stokie is repotedly one of the pioneers of amapiano. Throughout his career, he has established himself as one of South Africa’s most respected producers.

His influence extends beyond his own releases. With Shandu Ka Ndaba, DJ Stokie continues to shape amapiano while paying tribute to his lineage and city.
