‘Girl Child’ addresses socially conscious issues, particularly teenage pregnancy, while beautifully blending modern amapiano and Afro-pop elements. The result is a compelling, emotionally rich track that resonates deeply with communities.
“The single highlights the urgent issue of teenage pregnancy and its impact on young girls across communities,” the group shared.
Through heartfelt storytelling, thoughtful lyrics, and Dalom Kids’ signature harmonies, the song calls for unity, compassion, and collective action to protect and uplift young girls.
Dalom Kids remains one of South Africa’s most celebrated and enduring Afro-pop groups. Originally founded in the 1980s by the legendary Dan Tshanda, the group continues to thrive under the management of his wife, Sylvia Tshanda, still delivering the timeless melodies and uplifting messages fans love.
The track officially dropped on 14 November 2025, and is now available on all major digital platforms. To promote the release, Dalom Kids performed in Leicester and Leeds in the UK, sharing their excitement and behind-the-scenes moments with fans on Instagram.
