Ansah Live

Ansah Live is a Ghanaian artist, producer and song writer. He grew up in Accra where he first developed an interest in music after being exposed to 90s music by his older brother. He will spend hours glued to the radio listening and trying to write out lyrics from his favourite songs. After high school, he started making music with producer Liquidbeast who has his block mate in School.
In March 2016, he released his debut hiphop EP ‘Ultramarine Dream’ which featured Tano Jackson and the band, 21 Greedy Merchants. The project also saw production from DBM, Liquidbeast, MeetTheFoxx and Ansah Live himself. The project caught the attention of many music lovers and critics in the local scene due to its alternative approach. Ansah Live fused jazz, soul and rap to make this project.
Post Ultramarine Dream, The artist released a few singles that point to his experimental nature. The artist has since explored electronic music and funk as well. He has collaborated with other Ghanaian artists such as Seyyoh, Moorsound, Copta and Uche B among others.
Ansah Live has received nods from various artists and industry people in Accra for his single ‘Dial’. Most notably of them are Producer Juls, Jayso and Presenter Antoine.
He collaborated with BiQo to write both his debut and sophomore music EPs and has also written for Ghanian singer Adomaa on her ‘Adomaa Vrs Adomaa’ double EP.
Ansah Live is a member of the creative collective Superjazzclub together with Øbed, Seyyoh, Joey Turks and BiQo.
