ÁNESI

Ánesi is a genre-blending artist known for fusing African acapella, gospel, Afrobeats, R&B, rock, and experimental styles into a soulful, futuristic sound. Born Comfort Ogbonnaya, her musical journey began at age 5. By 12, she released her debut gospel album The Genesis, which sold over 1,000 copies and earned her first million—marking the rise of a fearless and gifted artist.

She honed her craft at ABBA Music School, training in vocal performance and music theory. Ánesi later founded AX: Acapella Xpression, an ensemble rooted in harmonic African traditions, and became known for her unique vocal arrangements and bold performances.

In 2023, despite personal loss, Ánesi pushed creative boundaries. She launched Trapiano , her first NFT, performed in the metaverse, and began experimenting with AI, BLOCKCHAIN and WEB3. She also founded Creative Alchemy, a creative community empowering artists with access to the right information resources and opportunities.

A trained software engineer and data analyst, Ánesi merges her technical skills with music, creating immersive, forward-thinking experiences.

In 2025, she returns with a powerful new era—starting with a single on March 28 and her genre-bending project, The Glance EP (which introduced Alkebulan ( Aftersoul ), continuing her mission to fuse tradition with innovation.
