Aliphatik

Born and bred in Tzaneen, Limpopo Province in South Africa; Aliphatik is a dance music producer, composer, DJ, sound engineer and entrepreneur based in South Africa. He started making music professionally in 2011 after being introduced to House Music Legend DJ Ganyani. His original music was highly anticipated after the release of Aliphatik’s remix of DJ Fresh’s song CHERRIE. Aliphatik’s music has featured on various music charts in African radio stations such as Metro FM, Radio Lesotho, Homeboys Radio (Kenya), Eswatini Radio, Yarona FM (Botswana) just to name a few. He made his TV debut on SABC1's Masters of spin show (1's and 2's) season 3 as a contender and was amongst the Top 4 finalists.

Aliphatik is the founder and managing director of ALIPHATIK MUSIC; a production company that creates music and soundtracks for film and TV and offers music consultation services for emerging musicians. Aliphatik co-founded AFRICA INSTITUTE OF MULTIMEDIA; a media school based in Limpopo Province, the school is accredited with the MICT-SETA and has trained over 100 learners in credit bearing (NQF 4&5) Film & Television Production Courses. Aliphatik has released two EPs under his name and one of his singles "ABA DIBONE" received a Synchronization deal with a NETFLIX Original series called JIVA in 2021. Aliphatik recently facilitated the Limpopo leg of the Revenue Streams for African Musicians Workshop, initiated by Music In Africa Foundation.
