Akeeda is a Cape Town-based singer-songwriter whose music is honest, raw and deeply introspective. Her journey with music began in 2011, when she met guitarist and collaborator Andre Williams. Their connection was instant - built on a shared instinct for songwriting and a natural creative rhythm that has lasted over a decade. Their process is fluid and intuitive: at times, Akeeda’s lyrics shape the melodies Andre creates, while other times, his guitar work sparks something within her, bringing words to life.
