Agwede

Agwede is a dancehall band from Malawi that is made up of men. It was founded in 2006 at Chancellor College. Initially, the group comprised of eight members namely, Nikkodemus Blackfundo, Zeze Linton, Shango, Fuego Centinno, Teddy D, Jonez and Manzy. It currently has three active members: Nikkodemus, Zeze Linton and Fuego Centinno.

They have released a number of songs such as 'Machine a Mphepo' and ‘Ndikuveke Mphete’. The songs earned them a mark in the country's entertainment circles. ‘Ndikuveke Mphete’ was produced by Dj Sley of Chit Chat Records while its video was shot and produced by VJ Ice of Flashlight Media. The song was released in February 2015 after a long break from music production. The song is about a man who wants to propose, he ends up putting ring on the girl he has loved for a long time.
