World Agape Ministries as a parent ministry decided to tender for a Multiplexer license that was being tendered. Apostle Fernandes as the Chairman of the Religious Media Association called TAREMA understood the stand that the Government was taking and tried to request the members of TAREMA to join in to apply for the Tender. But the government wanted a Company to be registered so as to apply for the License. The deadline was too tight for each organisation to accept to begin a company. So Agape Associates Limited was registered in 1997 to conduct business as per Jesus instructions. So we asked each organisation to put down the finances for this company but none did.

Hence World Agape Ministries decided to become the major shareholder having 51% and allowing 49% to be allowed to be sold to individuals.

With the investment that Agape has invested into the Broadcasting field, it gave Agape Associates the leeway to start of the Multiplexer.

The multiplexer is to carry all the Content Service Providers so that their signal can reach the consumers. The Content Service Providers will pay the Multiplexer to send their signal.

The Multiplexer receive a 25 year license to send signals throughout Tanzania. This enables the Gospel to be preached without hindrances.

Apart from the 9 TV stations that Agape Television owns we will not have the capability to enter every City, Town and Village and hence we call this MISSION HOUSE TO HOUSE ACTS 20"20 and therefore we want to reach 100 million homes in Africa by the year 2020.
