Luh'ra

Luh’ra is an artist based in Cape Town who expresses herself through music. Accompanied by her golden guitar and band, her music can be described as Indie Soul. Listening to Luh’ra is an experience for heart and the mind while she shares personal feelings and moments in her lyrics surrounded by warming melodies and rhythms. An advocate for vulnerability, Luh’ra has been gently sharing her music since 2017.

Her sophomore release, Nice – the follow-up to her 2019 debut EP Luh’ra Luv – takes the indie soul that Luh’ra has been sharing with audiences and quite beautifully, expands it. Subtle notes of jazz, silky R&B and smooth beats propel an intimate journey through the multiple facets of human connection putting Luh’ra into the sonic terrain occupied by artists like Lianne La Havas, Cleo Sol and Raveena.
