Kay.I.Am is a female rap artist from Kempton Park, South Africa. Her love for music began in the early 2000. She draws her musical inspiration from Madonna, Kylie Monogue, Atomic Kitten and many others. She used to write her pop songs until her uncle introduced her to hip-hop through listening to Eminem's music. This saw her making music and releasing a single called 'Put Me On' featuring artists under Heartless Marksman Music. She went on Vuzu hustle and made it to the Top 20 rappers out of 3000 entries. She is currently (as of May 2016) working on her first album.
