De korop (real name Siyanda Trey Ngcobo ) is a producer, actor, director filmmaker and song writer born & raised in Durban (South Africa) the 21 year old producer was raised by his mother in uMlazi, Mayvill, & In Mount Moriah He then moved to Mouth Moriah were "Duncan" Skhuva Mr. Tsiki Tsiki now when he was going to high school in Daleviwe were The love for music developed.

He has worked with Duncan, Joocy From Afrotainment Mr. Thandekile ft Dj Tira & the even worked on a track with Joocy's track produced by De korop's called "Twinkle light" later worked with the legendary "James Langa" from Avant the well known Gospel Group with they all time single "Wemzalwane Nqina"

He started writing and producing music at the age of 16 and started recording at the age of 17. His debut production is 'Syaguduza Syangena' from his local area. Helped him get experience on the Production side

He has written and directed most of Durban underground films like Escape, Injomi, My best friend's wife & Self Defence & he Directed most of artist music video's including "Ithonga lami" & "Into nje".

He then grew to love music more and felt most alive on stage. He has performed at festivals like Durban beach festival in 2014, 2015 and 2016 kwamashu festival. He has performed at numerous well known clubs in Durban and many house parties. He has shared the stage with likes of K.O from Cash Time, Zakes Bantwini, Zakwe, Duncan,Durban Nyts, Professor & Junior De Rocka. In early 2014 he featured on a instrumental by DJ Ehhe from Afrotainment the Big Nuz Dj that year then Duncan shot a music video for his song Called Mithatha Ft Dj Tira.
