Neil and the New Vibration

The band reflects the musical landscape of Malawi through the eyes and ears of an English singer-songwriter who moved to the country for musical inspiration. He found great musicians to play with, including one of the country's most well-respected guitarists.

Popular music in Malawi ranges from Congolese Rumba to American Country, with much traditional styles incorporated too as well as Reggae. The band's sound therefore incorporates these influences and moulds them into their characteristic tone, known as Afro-Country. They are a lively and entertaining band who've been performing since 2013 at major festivals and venues all over Malawi.

Their first album, 'Made In Malawi' has just been released and is being enjoyed worldwide as the band pick up momentum and look forward to bringing their fun-filled and musically interesting performances to audiences outside Malawi.
