Belgian-Ghanaian musician ESINAM and South African artist Sibusile Xaba are set to continue their collaborative tour across Southern Africa following performances in West Africa earlier this month.

The duo recently completed a three-date run in Togo, Ghana and Senegal before announcing upcoming performances in South Africa, Mozambique and eSwatini. Their scheduled appearances include performances at the MTN Bushfire Festival and the Afro-diaspora Festival.
Their collaboration combines elements of Ghanaian highlife, spiritual jazz, electronic music and African folk influences. The project has drawn attention for blending traditional rhythms with analogue and experimental production styles.
Both artists incorporate aspects of their cultural heritage into the music, with ESINAM drawing on her Ghanaian background and Xaba incorporating influences rooted in KwaZulu-Natal’s musical traditions.
“Starting our African tour in West Africa was quite an experience. Togo, Ghana, Senegal: three different vibes, three different rhythms, but so much in common too,” ESINAM said. “West Africa has been sweet and hot.
“I feel happy and grateful to share and play our music on the continent, starting with our hometown. I can’t wait to explore more, to welcome new experiences, and to share our music in South Africa, Mozambique, and eSwatini.”
Xaba described the opportunity to perform across the continent as significant for both artists.
“It's so good to play in Africa, we are truly privileged to get an opportunity to play for our people across the continent,” he said.
The duo’s performances form part of a broader touring schedule aimed at connecting audiences across different African regions through collaborative live music experiences.
