Tyla, Zara Larsson release collaborative single She Did It Again
GRAMMY-winning artist Tyla has released a new single, ‘She Did It Again’, in collaboration with Swedish pop artist Zara Larsson.
Tyla and Zara Larsson.
The track, issued through Epic Records, serves as the lead single from Tyla’s forthcoming second studio album. It blends elements of pop and R&B, combining both artists’ vocal styles over a mid-tempo production.
In the opening verse, Tyla delivers the lines: “I’m addictive, baby, what you want me to do? / Not a quick fix, one hit might ruin you.” Larsson follows with a verse that includes the lyric: “Put a man on his knees, not trying to tease / Oops, did it again like Britney.”
The single also references early 2000s pop influences, reflected in both its lyrical content and sonic style.
A music video accompanying the release has been made available. The visual features the two performers in a series of stylised settings, including desert landscapes and water scenes. Its aesthetic has drawn comparisons to Beautiful Liar, the 2007 collaboration between Beyoncé and Shakira.
Further details about Tyla’s upcoming album, including its release date, have not yet been announced.
