Seyi Vibez, born Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi on 12 July 2000 in Lagos, Nigeria, is a singer and songwriter known for his blend of street-pop, Afro-Fuji and melodic Afrobeats. He first begins releasing music in 2019 with the single “Anybody” and gradually builds his profile through early tracks and freestyles that capture his gritty yet melodic style. His breakthrough comes with the single “Chance (Na Ham)” from his second studio album Billion Dollar Baby. That song charts internationally, debuting at number 19 on the UK Afrobeats singles chart and reaching the top 10 on Nigeria’s TurnTable chart, helping establish him as a major figure in the contemporary Nigerian music scene.
Seyi Vibez’s discography includes several studio albums and EPs released between 2021 and 2025, such as No Seyi No Vibez, Vibe Till Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Kingdom Come, Loseyi Professor and Fuji Moto, as well as EPs like Memory Card and Children of Africa. His music often incorporates Yoruba language and cultural elements, infusing traditional influences with modern production.
Throughout his career he earns industry recognition, winning awards such as Best Street-Hop Artiste at The Headies and receiving nominations for international accolades including the BET Awards for Best New International Act.
