Blissbouy, born Suku Bilankulu in Phugwani village near Malamulele, is a South African artist known for blending Xitsonga traditional elements with trap, rap, and Amapiano influences. His stylistic framework, Xigaza xa Ma2K, reflects his commitment to modernizing cultural expression while grounding his sound in linguistic and traditional identity.
Blissbouy’s discography began taking formal shape in 2024. On 22 June 2024, he released the single 'Xibiyani', followed later that year by Aninga Fasangi featuring Yonceh (2024). His debut EP Xigaza Xa Ma 2k was released on 1 November 2024, marking his first cohesive project. In 2025, his catalogue expanded significantly with multiple singles, including 'Tshunela', released on 31 May 2025.Additional to his 2025 releases; 'Ninga Dlaya Munhu' (2025) and 'Muyani' featuring Rendie Gaga (2025), leading to the release of his full-length project Xigaza Xa Ma2K 2.0 on 28 November 2025.
By 2025, Blissbouy had also formalized his professional growth through a recording agreement with Virgin Music Group, reinforcing the momentum generated by his steady output. His work remains thematically centered on cultural values, relational ethics, and contemporary youth identity—drawing on traditional Xitsonga sensibilities while presenting them through modern sonic structures.
