Slvng Bxby

Slvng Bxby is a versatile South African rapper, producer, and songwriter hailing from Nyanga, Cape Town. Known for his emotionally-charged lyrics, soulful production, and raw storytelling, Slvng Bxby brings a unique voice to the evolving soundscape of African hip hop. He began making music in primary school around 2010 and has since crafted a sound rooted in personal experience, cultural pride, and creative experimentation.

He is the founder of Slvng Inc Music, an independent label focused on empowering artists from Cape Town’s townships. Slvng Bxby is also a member of the rap collective Funk Era, which showcases behind-the-scenes moments, studio sessions, and collaborative energy from some of the city's emerging talents.

His debut project, "Do It For Steez", is a heartfelt tribute to his late mentor Steez, blending introspective rhymes with hard-hitting beats. Slvng Bxby’s work is driven by legacy, community, and the pursuit of musical excellence.
