Ric Noir
Bio
Ric Noir is a Rwanda-Kigali based artist who frequents good old Rhythm & Blues (R&B), and AfroDance, spice it up with some traditional elements. his inspiration stems from nature and people.
He started out as a strong pop fan(80's synth wave, and early 2010s electro pop to be specific) and later discovered a whole new universe of Rwandan traditional music tied to lively testimonies about the music legends.
He has a mid-vocal-range that helps him deliver some of the best performances and his EDM background grants him abilities to put together compelling stories with a riddled arrangement. Ri-Gûma debuted after 5 years of decent career preparation.
Being self taught, his childhood music notion revolves around early 2000s megastars; Usher, Garou, and Chris brown just to name a few. He also enjoyed vintage local artists; Amasimbi n’amakombe [of Rugamba Cyprien], Kamaliza, and Soso Mado [from Orchestra Impala].
With that kind of musical ear, Ric Noir redefined that combined art and added his sprinkle sprinkle Midas touch. He seeks to lace heavy emotions on his catalog and broaden his audience with stories that touch every heart disregarding its race.
