Bio
*RoZnando* is a South African Afro-Xitsonga recording artist and songwriter born Nandos Cossa. He was born in Mamelodi, Gauteng and raised in Mabarhule, Mpumalanga, South Africa.
His stage name combines _Rose_, his mother's name, with _Nando_, from his given name. _Nando_ is derived from Fernando, meaning "bold voyager". *Maharihari* means *“Still Here”* or *“I Am”* in Xitsonga, reflecting his motto: _Rooted in Love, Rising with Courage_.
RoZnando began his career in 2012 with the group _MC MAHARIHARI_, debuting with _Makhipa Stress_. Mentored by _King Mc_ and first produced by _Andries Mtekza_, he embraced Xitsonga cultural music. In 2019 he went solo with _Chovha Vusiwana_, produced by _J Beats_ with a beat from _Dj Sockza_.
In 2026 he released _MATIMU_, a singles collection album compiling his work from 2019. _MATIMU_ means "history" or "stories" in Xitsonga. His latest single is _NAKU RHANDZETELA_ featuring Mama Conny, produced by J Beats.
He has performed alongside Pensele, Fifi Cooper, Dr General, Muzka Refila Boy, and Mr Tonito. His music blends Xitsonga cultural influences with contemporary Afro sounds, focusing on love, family, and personal journey.
