Tarri Guitarri
Bio
Tarri Guitarri is an ethno-classical African acoustic guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist. She taught herself to play the guitar and calls her genre 'Rasolafrik'.
In 2009, Tarri participated in the MTN Project Fame West Africa talent show. She was director of a choir based in South-southern Nigeria at 15. The promotional video of her debut single "I don Taya" received airplay on music television.
She has performed at the Calabar International Jazz Festival which featured Asa, Jonathan Butler and Eric Benet. She performs anything from 3 to 10 songs, on stage, depending on event requirements, with just her guitar and sometimes with the support of conga drums and/or trumpet.
