Amadhuve Sasha born (Miriam lishomwa) is a powerhouse of Zimbabwean traditional music widely referred to as the Queen of mbira music. Amadhuve Sasha is widely celebrated as a premier mbira player, vocalist and energetic performer. She has carved out a unique space in the industry by seamlessly blending deep-rooted cultural sounds with modern rhythmic sensibilities to create a sound fluid enough to accommodate a wide variety of generations yet mantaining the rich Zimbabwean spiritual flavor.
