SA: KZN Music Imbizo is here
The KZN Music Imbizo starts on Thursday at Durban's iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium.

The South African music conference, which is in its 10th edition, will run under the theme No Boarders – Let the Music Travel. It will focus on three central topics: revenue streams, marketing and advertising, and stage and performance.
The full programme features speakers from the South African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO), Chocolate City Records (Nigeria), Koroga Festival (Kenya), ONGEA! (Kenya), Google, Content Connect Africa (South Africa), Deezer, the Independent Music Performance Rights Association (South Africa), the South African Music Performance Rights Association and Sheer Publishing (South Africa).
Some of the confirmed panellists include local musicians Kwesta, Msaki, Berita, Zakes Bantwini, Distruction Boyz, DJ Nkoh Madlala and Madanon McNdimande.
SAMRO will run workshops, host one-on-one sessions and engage its members at the conference.
The KZN Music Imbizo said its programming would be centred on politics, visa requirements and artist mobility, digital distribution, marketing and advertising as well as film-scoring
"The KZN Music Imbizo has hosted some great names in the global music industry and 2018 will be no different as it looks to build on previous conference successes and programme a world-class event that will engage and create opportunities for the delegates and participants," it said.
The event will also feature an exhibition space where musicians, publishers, record labels, gear companies, event promoters and government departments will launch and promote their products and services.
