
Open call: Music Cities Awards 2024
Organisations from around the world are invited to submit entries for the 2024 edition of the Music Cities Awards (MCAs) ahead of the awards ceremony in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 14 November.

Music Cities Awards is a global competition designed to acknowledge and reward the most outstanding applications of music for economic, social, environmental and cultural development in cities and places all around the world.
Since its launch in 2020, the MCAs have become a global showcase of the state of the art of projects using music for making cities better and a source of inspiration for those music advocates looking to create a positive impact in their communities.

- Best Global Music City
- Best Initiative to Support Diversity and Inclusion in Music
- Best Initiative to Support Music Education and Career Development
- Best Music Tourism Initiative
- Best Initiative Using Music to Improve Health and Wellbeing
- Best Initiative Using Music to Support Environmental Sustainability
- Best Initiative Using Music for Economic, Social or Community Development in Cities
- Best Night-Time Economy Initiative
- Best Use of Music in Real Estate or City Planning
- Best Organisation or Individual Supporting Music in their City
- Best Digital Innovation to Support Musicians or Music in Cities
How to apply
- Access the online form to apply for the 2024 Music Cities Awards.
- The projects and initiatives entered must have been running in 2023 and/or 2024.
- Artists can nominate themselves, their own organisation or nominate someone else or another organisation.
- Artists can apply for multiple awards but each application has to be done individually.
- The application deadline is 20 April 2024.
