Sauti za Busara 2022
Zanzibar, TanzaniaSauti za Busara [Sounds of Wisdom] is a non-profit festival bringing people together annually in celebration of the richness and diversity of African music. The next edition will rock the walls of Stone Town, Zanzibar during 11 - 13 February 2022.
The theme for this 19th edition is ‘Paza Sauti: Amplifying Women’s Voices’.
The festival gives priority to:
- Unique music that is performed live, with cultural identity connected to Africa
- Women artists, or groups led by women
- Young, new and emerging talents
- Music with messages that are relevant and useful for society
For the well-being of artists, visitors and locals, extra health and safety measures will be in place.
The lineup will be announced in October 2021. Generous discounts on ticket prices are offered for all Tanzanian citizens, EAC residents and African passport-holders, with Early Bird Super Saver rates available until 31st October.
